Earth Mother Paintings

The Earth Mother paintings were begun in 2022 as a way for me to explore the power of these ancient figures.

The paintings are created using digital tools providing a striking juxtaposition to the tools used by our ancestors tens of thousands of years ago.

Despite the differences in technology and the way that has shaped our world, and our very consciousness, these Earth Mothers continue to exert a powerful influence on our collective psyche as well as our individual lives and beliefs.

Each painting contains a votive fire, symbolizing veneration, honor, supplication, prayer, and relationship.
