The Torn Paper Dialogues
The Torn Paper Dialogues is a multi year, ongoing exploration of symbols that explore the visible and invisible worlds.
It is an honoring of my personal journey of spiritual development as expressed through the act of creating and interacting with torn paper snippets that hold fragments of art from many cultures, continents and centuries. It is a way of peeling back layers, challenging conventions, and opening up new ways of thinking about the divine spark within us.
This work is restorative, healing, ancestral, and visionary all at once.
It seeks to connect the threads, and link the hidden symbols that shape our experience of God and the world.
Layers of the Heart
A mixed media art journal exploring the terrain of the wounded heart.
Wrestling with complex situations, and the challenges of grief. Letting go of the need for an immediate solution and finding the courage to stay with the discomfort found in the landscape of tears and fears.
This is a simply constructed , hand sewn art journal made of toned Canson paper.
Its construction also includes hand printed papers, stencils, hand-carved stamps, various paints and papers.
